O Placed in layers and each layer is hardened by a blue light O Lasts for at least 5 years... O Not only used for restoring decay, but are also used for cosmetic improvements of the smile by reshaping disfigured teeth.

O contain acrylic and glass particles (non-toxic) O white-colored (look like natural teeth) O hardens quickly, so the patient is immediately free to chew on the treated tooth O less tooth structure lost because the dentist can make a smaller preparation

O more expensive O takes longer for the dentist to do O can stain with consumption of tea, coffee and tobacco O don’t get whiter with bleaching O strong, but not as strong as amalgam (mercury tooth fillings)
