3 SMAG 01/193 Wireless Telegraphy (WT) Act All use of radio subject to licensing under WT Act; Except certain (low power) short range devices (SRDs) that are specifically exempt by Exemption Regulations (e.g. model control; wireless alarms; mobile handsets); Statutory Instrument 1999 930 prohibits use of licence-exempt (SRD) bands for provision of services to third parties by way of business.
