5 EQUIPMENT  Pens (black is recommended)  Pencils (B or 2B) and eraser  Highlighter pens (optional)  A ruler marked in millimetres and centimetres  A protractor  A pair of compasses  A set square  A calculator* * Calculators may be used in Section 2 of the Mathematics School Certificate Test. Some restrictions apply - these can be checked on the Board of Studies Website. Check that the above equipment is in good working order well before the test.
