3 Holiday Brochure A brochure is a distributed publication which aims to sell holidays to customer. Typical content: A range of destinations Statistics and places of interest for each destination, Range of hotels / complexes for each destination, Clear details of facilities of each hotel / complex, Clear prices for different weeks / board basis's

5 Developing your brochure Read Task B, Part 7 of the assignment and produce a quality double page brochure extract to advertise a holiday destination of your choice. Aim for 2 pages of quality content. Purpose – To sell hotel / complexes located at a specific holiday destination Audience – Fly-A-Way Travel Customers Follow the communication cycle again. 6 Hints and Tips (1) 2 page brochure spread could look like: 1 resort, 1 hotel (across 2 pages) 1 resort 2 hotels (1 page each) Sale style brochure – lots of holidays in a grid (across 2 pages) Key features / content to consider Pictures – big pictures main resort / hotel – little ones for amenities Company identity – social media, logo, contact Small writing - size 8 font may be smaller!! 7 Hints and Tips (2) Think about house style, Think about layout, Setup a master page to ensure your document looks consistent, You need to include a range of graphics from many sources, Include sensible thought out content, Don’t make content up – borrow and adapt from the internet, Build up your bibliography as you go along and reference sources properly, Include any source materials and show how they have been adapted within your commentary, Include graphs showing some of the holiday statistics – downloadable from my website
