6 syllabus Course Enduring Learning’s The student will understand that: Anatomy describes the form and organization of anatomical parts, while physiology considers the function of anatomical parts. The structure or anatomy of body parts and organs determines what they are able to do and how they can function. Characteristics of life are traits all organisms share. The body is composed of parts with different levels of organization. The body systems are dependent on each other to survive and operate the human body. Lifestyle choices effect the functioning of the systems of our body. Terms with precise meaning helps investigators communicate effectively.
