3 Motivation Motivation: –To have an RPSL compliant database –To take advantage of the enhanced syntax checking and security –To establish the software platform to support APNIC’s role as Internet Routing Registry –To have a better operational platform (response time, enhanced mirroring) –To provide richer APNIC database query options to the public

8 Cutover From 9:00-10:00 Brisbane time A few problems during cutover –Need fine tuning to handle the high load Some hosts gets blocked for intensive queries behavior (spam mining?) –Web interface replacement needed more time than planned (extra 10 minutes)
