2. About the Hotel The T&T ice hotel first opened in January 2009 10 miles north of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. It is the worlds biggest and only ice hotel in Europe. In 2006, builders Tyler Horenfeldt and Tory Dick decided to build a bed out of ice and put it on display at the Swedish museum of art. At the museum, a little girl thought the ice bed was fascinating and suggested that we should expand our buisiness in ice items. Tyler and Tory listened to this idea which led to them building an ice hotel in Sweden. The T&T ice hotel is now known as one of the most popular hotels in the world, having over 100000 tourists visit in 2010. The entire hotel is made out of snow and ice. The hotel is made from over 30 000 tons of ice. The T&T ice hotel operates from December to March.

5. Attractions Polar World: The world’s largest polar bear park About: Polar World, the world’s largest polar bear park opened in 2009 in Dalarma which is in the middle of Sweden. Visitors will be able to learn about all the fun facts about polar bears and their habitats! A walk through the Royal Palace About: A walk through majestic halls, where the kings and queens once lived and worked. With its 608 rooms, the Royal Palace is one of the biggest Palaces in Europe. You cannot miss out on this once and a life time experience! Ski in Åre About: Åre village lies in Central Sweden and is made up of 3 ski areas: Björnen, Åre and Duved. This ski resort offers a wide range of lessons for beginners as well as professionals. Come to Åre village and you will have the time of your life skiing with friends and family! Modern Museum of Art About: The Modern Museum of Art, located across the bridge from Skeppsholmen, is one of the most interesting museums in the city. 8. History Of The Swedish Flag Sweden's flag was adopted on June 22, 1906, but its design is hundreds of years old (it dates from 1521). The Swedish flag is blue with a golden-yellow Scandinavian cross. The colors are taken from the Swedish national arms and the design is from the Danish flag.
