What do you love most about your job? That is easy-- I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my students to death. It is so rewarding to have 4,5 and 6 year old children to come to me every day to learn new and exciting things. As I am sure you have heard before, they are like sponges and take it all in. Well, that is so true. AND best of all...they just love me! Children that age, love their teacher so much, hug you, kiss you, play with your feet..... and just are excited to learn. What do you dislike about your job? When the students get sick and throw up-- HAHA-- Well, it is difficult to keep up with all of the paperwork and emails that come during the day... Kindergarten students require help all day long and it is very hard to get away even for a moment to check emails and anything extra that might arise.

What is most difficult about your job? I do not like to have to discipline my students and have them "move their clip" for bad behavior-- I do, but it is hard because I just want to take them, put them on my lap and have a serious conversation with them. Why did you become a teacher? I knew that I wanted to be a teacher from the time that I was in the 3rd grade... I had the BEST 3rd, 4th and 5th grade teachers ever... I wanted to be just like them..I love to write on the board, grade papers and do anything that had to do with teaching. I would get all of my stuffed animals along with my younger brother and set up a classroom-- I was the teacher. My poor brother had to learn everything that I learned at school (guess it paid off because he got to skip the 3rd grade)-- :-) I knew that I wanted to be a teacher from the time that I was in the 3rd grade...
