1. Who gives you presents at Christmas ? At Christmas the three kings (Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar) give us presents.

2. What is your traditional Christmas meal? Our traditional Christmas meal is : We eat 12 grapes to celebrate the New Year at the end of the year. Also we eat our traditional King Cake (it has presents inside of it).

3. Describe your traditional costumes. When do you wear them? We have some different costumes but one of them is: Chulapa and chulapo costumes, in Madrid. A girl, the chulapa, wears a long, white dress with red dots and she has also a handkerchief. A boy, the chulapo, wears black trousers, a white shirt, a grey vest and a beret. We wear them on San Isidro´s Day (patron of Madrid).

4. Do you have a feast typical of your country? One typical feast is the “All Saint´s Day”. And other typical feasts are the bull races in Pamplona. We celebrate it during one week, per year. Some people release the wild bulls and they start running through the streets pursuing the people.You have to run so much because the bulls can catch you!!!!!

5.Do you celebrate special days like Mother's Day, Father's Day…? We celebrate special days like Mother's Day, Father's Day or Children’s Day. On Mother's Day, like on Father's Day, children make presents for their parents. Also we celebrate Book Day and people sell lots of books, older people read books to younger people…

6. How do you celebrate Easter? In our country it depends if you believe in Christ or not. The ones that don’t believe pass the time like holidays. The ones that believe in Christ take holidays but they also go to processions and have special celebrations …

7.Do people in your country celebrate Halloween/ Saint´s Day /Autumn feast? We celebrate Halloween but some people don’t celebrate it with costumes and sweets so they call it Saint’s Day or Autumn Feast. On Halloween children go from door to door saying “Truco o trato” and the people of the house give them sweets.

8. What is the religion of your country? The people that believe our religion are called Christians. It is not obligatory to believe any religion in Spain. Many churches are Catholic. Buenache de Alarcón, Cuenca

9. Do people in your country go to church regularly? Some people are religious and others no. Not all religious people go every Sunday to church but they can also be considered religious. Catholicism is not the only religion because Spain is a secular country.

10. Could you show us your traditional dance and sing a traditional song? (You can prepare a short performance or record a video.)
