4. Document Based Question  What were the social, economic, and political reasons Europeans colonized North America?

Activity 1)In groups of four you will examine the pictures of each colonial document. 2)You will divide your manila paper into three sections (Economic, Government, Social) 3)DBQ question: What were the Economic, Political, Social reasons Europeans would colonize North America. 4)For each document you will name the documents, identify what it is depicting and what section it would fit into. 5)For each document: You will describe, explain and summarize the document (in one color). 6)For each document: You will analyze the reasons for categorizing the document in its category and infer why the document is import to the development of America (in another color).

6. Closing Question  Create a thesis statement answering the Document Based Question.
