Art 257 :: Motion Graphic Design :: Week 1 :: A In-class Presentation :: Introduction In this class we will using Flash 8 to learn basic 2D animation principles and techniques, to create several animations, and to create a fully functional flash web site for the final project. The final project will be merged together with the final project for Art 258 – Interface Programming 2. What is motion graphic design? What does the term multimedia mean? Image + Text + Sound + Time

Art 257 :: Motion Graphic Design :: Week 1 :: A In-class Presentation :: “A” and “B” Days Every Tuesday, or “A” day, will be a lecture/lesson day where we will learn new material and techniques. Every Thursday, or “B” day, will be an in-class working day where I will be available to walk around, answer questions, and help people out on a 1-1 basis. Please come to class every Thursday with your project source files ready to work in class! I may prepare very short, brief lessons for “B” day Thursdays as well (especially early in the semester). All homework assignments will be due on Tuesdays, or “A” days – giving you the weekend to work on your projects before they are due.
