2015 Assessment Reporting Timeline December 2015 Individual student assessment reports in schools 2015 PARCC data on My School DC and in SLED State, LEA, and school level data on interactive online platform LEAs will have student-level assessment subclaim data, and data for students currently enrolled 2016 Educators will be able to log into secure side of interactive online platform to view student level data Student level DC Science results provided to LEAs 4

Algebra I Reports Because Algebra I was optional for high schools and scores will not be aggregated, student reports for Algebra I will not include comparative information for school and state comparisons. Algebra I schools might consider calculating their own comparative information to share with parents. OSSE will create and distribute a template letter to help schools do that. 5

Spring 2016 Updates All LEAs should now have updated Pearson Access Next logins and organization information – Dc.pearsonaccessnext.com and trng.pearsonaccessnext.com – To-Do: Update all your users, update your organization contact information and add test dates – Make sure all non-publics serving your students are in the system, and communicate with them – Student uploads coming in January PARCC 2016 Spring Administration Manuals and training modules are now available online at parcc.pearson.com Coming soon: DC Accommodations Manual 6

Spring 2016 Updates Computer/Paper Policy Announcement in November 18 LEA Look Forward: – Computer test administration for students without accommodations will now be the default unless schools receive a hardship waiver from OSSE – Schools wishing to test PARCC on paper must submit hardship waiver applications by December 18 th to OSSE.Assessment@dc.gov – Rubric and instructions here: http://osse.dc.gov/node/1118657 http://osse.dc.gov/node/1118657 7

DC Science: Key Changes 2016 Spring Operational Test Administer two units per grade Test will be timed (in-line with PARCC), estimated 60 minutes per unit One paper-version per grade for students that require the accommodation – Schools will transcribe student responses into the online system Additional accommodations offered – Color contrast, Audio forms, Answer mask, Line reader, Magnifier
