In 2009-10, the Bedford Area Virtual Academy (BAVA) saved $350,160 that could have been paid to cyber schools. The districts projected savings over the educational career of each student totals $1,305,322. This takes into consideration without the BAVA a student would have finished their education in a PA cyber school.
