Zonta International envisions a world in which women's rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision making positions on an equal basis with men. In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.

5 Keys to Retention Mentor new members – in person, on the telephone, with email Involve new members in club committees Value their contributions Involve new members in area workshops, district conferences, international conventions Include new members as part of a TEAM!

1. Make a Difference Quality service and advocacy projects and activities that align with Zonta’s mission and help to realize Zonta’s vision, and meet a verified community need My volunteer work is important Our efforts are measureable results

Personal Growth Education on women’s issues Network and learn from others experiences, not only locally but also across clubs and nationally and internationally with business leaders and professionals from many different fields Take on new and expanded leadership roles on committees and boards, as well as learn new skills in a safe supportive environment – Network!

4. Dynamic organization Meetings are run well and relevant to strategic plans and Zonta’s mission Provide hands on experiences with programs and activities More action than talk Clubs provide members with leadership opportunities Environment encourages fresh ideas and thinking

Keep the ZI passion alive Donations at individual and club levels support Zonta International service projects and educational awards Grant scholarships locally as pipeline for District and International awards Linked local service and advocacy projects and activities to ZI efforts creates an impact “greater than the sum of individual efforts”
