Recommendation Items Non-NAS NAVAIDS –Precision and Non-Precision training approaches for: Flagler County (X47) Pierson (2J8) Okeechobee (OBE) Leesburg (LEE) With Emphasis on west facing ILS’s. Other airports such as kissimmee (ISM); Immokalee (IMM) and Palatka (28J) to be considered as necessary.

Recommendation Items (Cont) Financial assistance or funding incentives for the installation of on-board GPS equipment for fleet modernization and flight training development. Radar facility and BRITE scope equipment to service airports at Stuart, Vero Beach, FT. Pierce and future towers.

Recommendation Items (Cont) Funding for the development of flight training specific airfields and financial incentives for airport operators and users to commit to encouraging the growth of flight training at their respective airports. Financial incentives to private-public or private-private use airports who support flight training. Aggressive advertising and public awareness campaign aimed at raising public awareness of state/community benefits associated with flight training activities.

Recommendations Items (Cont) A Non-NAS ILS approach west of Orlando International (MCO) for remote, off airport flight training. This recommendation supports the MCO ATCT routine project funding request for an ILS West Of MCO for flight training (Bryce Courtney). Sales tax relief and financial assistance for flight training simulators and related equipment.

Daytona Beach ATCT Traffic Management Unit (DAB TMU ) Established to maintain a local traffic management system that provides the maximum user access to local resources (airspace, approach procedures, and airports) and balances workload at facility positions for the maximum utilization and efficiency of the DAB airspace and airports.
