Open House Schedule 6:00-6:30 Parents may gather information and go to a classroom. 6:30-6:45 Transition; parents may make their way to another classroom or head home. 6:45-7:15 Parents may gather information and go to a classroom. (Repeat of 1 st session) 7:15 Open House ends

Daily Schedule 8:45 – 9:15Morning Work/Attendance 9:15 – 11:25Block 1 (ELA or Math/Science/SS) 11:25 –11:30 Transition 11:30 – 12:35 Block 2 (ELA or Math/Science/SS) 12:35 – 1:05Recess 1:05 – 1:35 Lunch (This time will vary slightly throughout the year) 1:45 – 2:30 Specials 2:30 – 3:35Block 2, continued 3:35 – 3:45 Clean Up /Pack Up /Dismissal Begins

Specials Scheduled Monday - Friday, 1:45 PM to 2:30 PM PE, Music, Art, Library, Spanish & Technology Rotating schedule to accommodate various Track schedules Specials are listed on our online Classroom Calendar. You will find a link to this at the bottom of any emails you receive from us. You can also find it on our classroom websites. Students are encouraged to write down the specials they will have at in their agenda each week. We model this for them.

Economy System We run a classroom economy system to support students in making good choices. Students are paid for their classroom jobs Students earn money by doing homework Students pay rent for desks Students pay fines for poor choices Students can open approved businesses at recess Quarterly Flea Markets are held where students can buy and sell items

If you are at all interested in volunteering, please stop by the media center to REGISTER on the wake county website. If you were registered last year, you need to renew your registration, but the process is much easier than the initial registration. You must receive a clearance badge before you can volunteer. It can take up to 3 weeks to receive your badge after you register the first time. Volunteer Registration
