2
Summer Study Committee Interim Recommendations –The State of Vermont should assume responsibility as the “default” basic dispatching service for an Emergency Service Provider should any ESP lose its dispatch service. –The Vermont State Police should complete its dispatch consolidation, combining personnel into one-stage emergency communication centers, to the extent feasible, and report on the progress to the House and Senate Government Operations Committees.
3
Summer Study Committee Interim Recommendations (Continued) –The use of technology such as mobile data and new radio systems should be explored. –The Vermont State Police should continue to provide “default” basic dispatch service to new police agencies and law enforcement certified constables.
