HOBSONS EARLY ALERT Hobsons Retain includes a paperless Early Alert system that could serve as a supplement the academic warning form.

EARLY ALERTS Hobsons Retain uses a survey feature to allow faculty to raise alerts about the students on their rosters. Types of Alerts: Academic Attendance Behavioral Financial Personal/Social

FACULTY AND STAFF SUPPORTING STUDENT ACADEMIC PROGRESS Hobsons alerts are immediately routed to both the student and to support offices. Student support staff can quickly address alerts to support student academic progress.

AFTER AN ALERT IS RAISED A message about the alert is sent to the student. The alert is posted on the student’s personal page. The advisor/service office is notified of the alert.

CONSIDERATIONS Hobsons early alerts and prepopulated rosters allow faculty to raise alerts with ease. Electronic alerts allow appropriate service offices and advisors to follow up with the students early in the semester. Hobsons offers reporting functionality to assess outcomes for flagged students.
