2. New Moon Nueva Luna
You can not see a new moon in the sky at night.

3. Waxing Crescent Primer Cuarto Creciente
A waxing crescent is after the new moon it is the moon starting to build up to a full moon.

4. First Quarter Moon Luna de Primer Trimestre
The first quarter moon is after the waxing crescent moon. It is showing about half of the moon.

5. Waxing Gibbous Dando cera Giboso
Waxing Gibbous comes after the first quarter moon. It shows roughly ¾ of the moon.

6. Full Moon La Luna Nueva
A full moon is after the waxing gibbous. This is when all of the moon is reflecting light so you can see all of the moon.

7. Waning Gibbous Disminuyendo Giboso
Waning gibbous is after the full moon. It is the moon getting smaller.

8. Last Quarter Ultimo Cuarto
The last quarter moon is after the waning gibbous. It shows about half of the moon.

9. Waning Crescent Disminuyendo Medialuna
The waning crescent is the last moon phase before it starts over at new moon.
