2 It is important to be organised as it: relieves unneeded stress and worry. makes working easier and simpler. makes goals and ambitions more reachable. promotes a healthier lifestyle. WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

3 DON’T RUSH – Give yourself enough time to get ready for school. PREPARE YOUR WARDROBE – Do this the night before so you don’t end up stressed in the morning. AVOID OVERLOAD – Don’t do too many extra- curricular activities, give yourself time to relax. START NOW – If you start an organised system now, you will be able to continue through the year properly. EAT RIGHT – Eating 3 meals a day is a proven way to get good results in education, work and life. WRITE – If you know you have a bad memory write homework/notes down whether it be in a planner, notebook or on an app. Even take photos if that’s easier. BREAK IT DOWN – Make big tasks easier by breaking them up, writing an essay? do it in stages. Also break up study times, for example study for 20 minutes have a rest then do another 20 minutes. BEING ORGANISED FOR SCHOOL

4 GET SLEEP – Sleep for at least 7 hours a night as sleep influences how you feel. WORKOUT YOUR BRAIN – Exercise your memory or learn a different language. These are proven to make you more creative. BE DECISIVE - Most decisions are reversible so don’t waste time making a non-important decision. EAT BREAKFAST – Low blood sugar in the morning make memory and concentration abilities weaker. MANAGE YOUR MOODS – Destructive emotions aren’t good for the brain. If you feel yourself getting angry or upset, stop and think why. CLEAR CLUTTER – Clean up your work space, a tidy desk is a tidy mind. ORGANISE YOUR MIND

6 To be organised in life it is key to set yourself goals. Goals can breakdown the steps you need to take to get where you want in life. Make your goals reachable ! Do your research ! So that you know what goals to set and how to achieve them! SET YOURSELF GOALS
