6. Non Availability / Poor Quality of Feed
Challenge Overview
Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) & Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) are responsible for Oil production & blending. Hence, recently the impurity level of Crude/Gas/Sour Gas supplied to KNPC is fluctuating with regard to:
Gas feed from KOC for AGRP unit
Sulfur content of crude
Heavy crude from KGOC

Communication Plan developed with KOC to take quick actions on crude quality deviation & and rectify any off spec.
Open communication with KGOC to monitor Eocene qualities.
Seek external consultant assistant to analyze AGRP feed at KOC and KNPC.
Processing of crude in MAA to produce Bitumen compensating shortage in heavy crude feed.
