Summer Research Training Program an opportunity to participate – in virtually all aspects of a research project with the guidance of a faculty research mentor. This includes: – reviewing literature – helping design a project, if not already done; – doing the project; – analyzing the results; and – presenting your findings at Student Research Forum

Major points Identify a mentor (at KUMC or outside University) Applications due March 1, 2016 8 weeks of 40 hours/week = 4 units of credit 4 weeks of 40 hours/week = 2 units of credit 8 weeks of 20 hours/week = 2 units of credit Summer Course on Research (5 lunchtime lectures) You can write a paper or present at the Student Research Forum or National Meetings or all of the above to receive academic credit.
