2. Verse 1 O Thou the Shepherd of Israel art;

3. Hear Thou our prayer and Thy favor impart;

4. Thou leader of Joseph, Thou guide of his way,

5. ‘Mid cherubim dwelling Thy glory display.

6. In Ephraim’s, Manasseh’s and Benjamin’s sight,

7. Come Thou and save us; awake in Thy might.

8. Verse 2 How long in anger will Thou turn away,

9. O Lord of hosts, when Thy people do pray?

10. With tears and sorrow their table is laid;

11. Of bitter mixture their drink hast Thou made.

12. Give us Thy favor, restore us Thy grace;

13. Then we shall live in the light of Thy face.

14. Last Verse Thou made us a scorn to our neighbors around;

15. Our foes in laughter and scoffing abound.

16. O Thou, God of Isr’el, return unto Thine;

17. Look down from heaven and visit this vine;

18. No more shall we wander, delighting in shame;

19. Save us, O Lord, for we call on Thy name.
