What does your body language say?
2
What is body language? Body language includes gestures, posture, and eye contact you use to send messages. Positive body language is a key factor in making a good impression People are often unaware of messages they are sending through body language.
3
Positive body language Eye contact, good posture, and a firm handshake signal self-confidence Nodding and leaning forward shows that you are paying attention. Keeping your hands relaxed and still shows you are calm.
4
Negative body language Biting your nails, fidgeting, or crossing & uncrossing your legs may suggest that you are nervous. Crossing your arms over your chest can indicate that you would rather be somewhere else. Slouching and avoiding eye contact can be interpreted as boredom or disrespect.
5
How it affects us Your body language often tells others more than your words do. It can give off either a good or bad first impression. Positive body language can help you in life; ex: When trying to get a job.
6
Summary/Conclusion Your body language can often be more important than your words. It greatly affects first impressions and lasting opinions of you. You should become more aware of it, focusing on the message you are sending.
