New co-Is: 1. Dr. Terry Slonecker, USGS A. Supports new very high resolution data acquisition from non civilian sources B. Will be an additional contact (along with Jim Tilton) on VHRI WARP data; C. Will conduct hyperspectral remote sensing of agricultural research that will support future funding 2. Dr. Mahesh Rao, Humboldt State University A. Will support Dr. Murali Gumma in South Asia work; B. Help review documents; 2. Others? (e.g., Barry Haack) A. Data dissemination through SERVIER nodes? B. USDA FAS data for validation?; C. Review of our products?; D. Education materials from our products? 1. South America A. Dr. Chandra Giri will lead the GFSAD30 project for South America; B. Giri is looking for a student to hire @ Duke University; C. Student will work 20 hrs per week all year (probably 40 hrs per week during summer) 2. South Asia A. Dr. Murali Gumma has started working on South Asia; B. 1. FAO A. Larry Gaffney and myself are working on agreement with FAO; B. FAO will support Jun Xiong’s validation efforts in Africa; C. Justin and Jun are working on a croplands.org to set up a easy validation efforts; D.
