2.  People learned to polish stone, make saws and drills and fire.  Started to learn how to farm.  They learned instead of picking food, to growing it during this era.  Domestication: process of changing plants to make them more useful to humans.

3.  People began to build permanent settlements.  Some areas: farming communities developed into small towns.  People started to perform religious ceremonies and created Megaliths: huge stones used as monuments.
