Churlish- (adjective) lacking politeness or good manners; When Vanessa acted churlish to Chuck Norris, Chuck round house kicked Vanessa in the face.

Plaudits-(noun) applause; enthusiastic praise or approval. Young Money, also known as Lil’ Wayne, always receives huge plaudits after he raps a song.

Revert-(verb) to return, go back. When I heard there was a large pokémon battle going on in the middle of the road, I decided to revert back home.

Collaborate-(verb) to work with, work together. Vanilla Ice says we collaborate and listen, because he’s back with a new invention.

Staid-(adjective) serious and dignified; quiet or subdued in character or conduct. I’m guessing the joker, in Dark Knight movie, wasn’t staid, because he would always ask, “Why so serious?”

Ornate-(adjective) elaborately decorated; showily splendid. The Christmas tree was very ornate, but due to the large number of ornaments, the tree had fallen on Birdman, “tha rappa”

Unison-(noun) a sounding together; When we had sung the strange song in unison the crowd had basically begged us to sing it one more time.

Rubble-(noun) broken stone or bricks; ruins. I was very disappointed when I punched the wall and no rubble was on the floor.

Bountiful-(adjective) giving freely, generous; plentiful, given abundantly. If I was a rapper with a cool name, I’d be able to give a bountiful amount of money to my fans.

Perturb-(verb) to trouble, make uneasy; The mere thought of being eaten by a shark or even bit by one, perturbs me greatly.

Relevant-(adjective) connected with or related to the matter at hand. I believe that rap is very relevant to opera but, people tend to not agree with me.

Willful-(adjective) stubbornly self willed; done on purpose, deliberate. Some people say that “uh-oh Oreos” were accidently made that way, but I know, for a fact, that they were guilty of the willful, “uh-oh Oreos”.

Blasé-(adjective) bored as a result of having enjoyed many pleasures. apathetic, indifferent. After having rode every ride at Hershey’s park, twice, I found it a bit blasé to ride any ride a third time.

Nonentity-(noun) a person or thing of no importance. If you think Chuck Norris is a nonentity, think again, because if you all ready haven’t, you’re going to get round house kicked in the face for thinking that.

Peruse-(verb) to read thoroughly and carefully. If you don’t peruse a contract, who knows, what things would happen to you if you signed it.

Recourse-(noun) a person or thing turned to for help or advice. I’m glad I don’t turn to my teddy bear as a recourse, and look like a freak.

Residue-(noun) a remainder, that which remains when a part has been used up or removed. When my friend ate the doughnut, it had left a residue on her shirt, so I gave her my lucky tide-to- go pen.

Prodigious-(adjective) immense; extraordinary in bulk, size or degree. Since she would always make problems seem prodigious when they really were miniature, we decided to kick her out of our group.

Skittish-(adjective) extremely nervous and easily frightened. Every time before we would we take a test, jimmy would always be so skittish about them, he would run out the room screaming.

Comply-(verb) to yield to a request of command. In school, if you don’t comply with the rules, you could get suspended, or even expelled.
