14 Social Capital 14 Social capital is social networks and connections of diverse individuals and groups with shared values and assets. By investing in and leveraging social networks, social capital can be developed to help communities work, create and play together.

15 What Does This Mean? 15  Social capital is built on the idea of networks  Networks of people or organizations  It is the interaction and connectedness of people + organizations  How are we all connected?  Why is this important?  We can come together and achieve more than one could achieve alone!  Social capital influences our personal wellbeing, the wellbeing of organizations and of nations! It’s a powerful thing!
