1 Status Report 21 October 2009

2  Scene Player is fully implemented.  HCI surveys are completed.  Content Editor is almost fully implemented.  Motion has been greatly improved.  Skin scripts have been drafted.  Code Inspections are ongoing.  Integration of skin parser complete.

3  Dynamic Control Orientation  Most popular control scheme.  A small minority of users found it confusing. This will be addressed in the instructions.  Menu Scheme – Ring Menu was by far the most popular.

4  Content – Getting images and music for the skins may be difficult.  Mitigation: take pictures of different places, apply filters, and use those as backgrounds. Use GarageBand to create simplistic music.  Code Inspections – More time consuming than anticipated  Mitigation – focus on the most complex and potentially problematic areas of the system.

7  Content Editor needs to export skins.  Skin content creation.  Implement skins using Content Editors.  Implement Trivia Editor.  HCI Testing for Appeal.

8  Scene Player implementation.  Individual SceneCommand subclasses completed.  Display of level summary screen.  Skin Parser integration.  Removal of hard-coded test data.  Draft of Halloween skin.
