Plantlike Protists Algae – Algae provides food for many animals and animal- like protists. They are a staple of aquatic ecosystems. Largest producers of OXYGEN thru PHOTOSYNTHESIS

Plantlike Protists – Algae can also help remove pollution – the use pollution as a food source and can over produce.

Animallike Protists Amoeba – moves with a pseudopod (foot like projection)

Fungi Fungi are multicellular consumers They consume their food through absorption of dead organisms

Fungi There are four types of fungi: – sac fungi – zygote fungi – club fungi – imperfect fungi
