History Snowboarding started in the Olympics at the Nagano Games in 1998 with halfpipe and giant slalom Was founded in the U.S. in the 60’s but wasn’t allowed on almost all ski resorts –Most started to allow boarders in the 90’s U.S. held first National Championships in 1982 and first World Championships in 1983.

What is it?
