2. A lot of people... By his touch (Matt 8:2-3, Mark 1:30-3, Matt 9:29-30, Matt 7:32-35) By his command (Matt 8:13, John 4:43-54) By others’ faith (Mark 10:46-52, Luke 8:43-48) In response to others’ requests By his own initiative...but not everyone.

3. To reveal the arrival of the Kingdom of God (Luke 4:18, Matt 11:2-15) To invite people into relationship with God and To call people to discipleship (John 9) Because of his compassion and love (Mark 1:41, John 11:35)

4. Jesus didn’t want to just give people health. He wanted to give people LIFE.

5. Luke 17:11-18 (p. 799) People cry out to God for healing out of faith or desperation. Some receive health but not life. Healing is part of the Kingdom of God, but the important part of the Kingdom is God. Focus on the Healer, not the healing.

6. Jesus doesn’t want to just heal you physically. He wants to heal you completely and give you LIFE.
