ABOUT DOLPHINS members of the family Delphinidae. They are carnivores, consuming mostly small fish, squid and shrimp as there food. Can grow 10-14 feet Weigh up to 1000 1bs Very social and great communicators Dolphins can be found swimming in all of the worlds major oceans though most species tend to prefer living in warmer climates

REASONS SPECIES IS ENDANGERED Water pollution. The construction of Dams. Global warming. Over hunting of Dolphins Over-hunting of fish (lack of food for dolphins) Increased numbers of captive dolphins. Boats and Technology.

WHY MAKE AN EFFORT TO PROTECT DOLPHINS. Dolphins are part of our food chain If they go extinct it would create an imbalance in the ocean ecosystem and food chain. This imbalance would eventually effect us as humans and cause an imbalance in our ecosystem as well.

HOW HUMANS CAN PROTECT DOLPHINS Spreading awareness to your family and friends. Donating to the hundreds of charities for dolphins. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Try to lower carbon your footprint.
