4. Scientific Method Experiment Design You are going to be designing an experiment using King Worms. You must “Ask a question.” YOU CAN”T KILL IT OR HARM IT!!!!!! Example Questions: 1.Does the size of a worm affect how fast it crawls? 2.Does a king worm prefer bread or an apple to eat? 3.Does a king worm prefer light or dark? You then must design an experiment to test this. I have a ton of supplies in the room. If there’s something specific you want, ASK. I may have it.

E: put a piece of bread on one side of container and an apple on the other. Place 2-3 worms in the middle. In 5-10 minutes come back and count which piece has more worms around it. Q. Does a king worm prefer light or dark? E: Create a container that is ½ light and ½ dark. Place a few worms in the container. Come back in 5-10 minutes and record location of the worms.
