2. Why did I choose this concept?
I chose Golf because I really enjoy playing it. I chose the parabola because that is a big part of golf.

3. What does Parabola mean?
Parabola is shape that the ball draws in the air.

When I hit the ball it draws a shape and that shape that it draws means the Parabola.

5. Who Invented Parabolas?
It is believed that the parabola was invented by a Greek mathematician named Apollonius over two thousand years ago. He wrote a book called ‘Conic Sections’ that wrote about parabolas and curves.
