Teaching Guest speakers at other universities Films at other universities or through programs Last year a local film showing was my final Local conferences are a great teaching tool Hold class at the conference Have students present at local conferences Programs on campus through other departments CARP for example Programs off campus as a class International Handicapped Sailing Championships

Research Bring participants in to campus and offer programs Camp Abilities brings in over 50 children with VI I collaborate with other professors from campus and through other universities to collect data I study the affects of the practicum as well as interventions for children with visual impairments or deafblindness I conduct qualitative and quantitative studies Swim & Gym clinic (over 75 children each week) collaboration with the psychology department with children with autism

Local Grants Developing research locally may take funding. Local Foundation Grants can be found with the help and support of Colleen Donaldson Service organizations (Lions clubs for my camp) Fund raisers Other?
