The Words Of Agur Proverbs 30:5 “Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.” Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. The word of God is powerful Those who abide in the word, abide in God—and God protects them.

The Words Of Agur Proverbs 30:6 “Do not add to His words lest He reprove you, and you be proved a liar.” Deuteronomy and Revelation has warnings about adding to God’s word. It makes you a liar, All liars will be cast into the lake of fire.

The Words Of Agur Proverbs 30:7 “Two things I ask of Thee, Do not refuse me before I die: Agur has put his trust in God, and now ask God for a personal blessing. We need to take a lesson from what Agur asked of God.

The Words Of Agur Proverbs 30:8 “Keep deception and lies far from me, give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me with the food that is my portion.” We are warned– Be not deceived. Lies are of Satan, and nothing good can come from a lie. Give me enough to be thankful, but too proud and greedy.

The Words Of Agur Proverbs 30:9 “Lest I be full and deny Thee and say, ‘Who is the LORD?’ Or lest I be in want and steal, and profane the name of my God.” Those with plenty usually deny God. Look at the children of Israel whom the Lord blessed. Any sin is against God. Remember Josephs words?

The Words Of Agur Proverbs 30:12 “There is a kind of man who is pure in his own eyes, yet is not washed from his filthiness.” No matter how dirty or disgusting, a person thinks themselves honorable. Everyone did what was right in their own eyes. Nothing but selfishness.

The Words Of Agur Proverbs 30:20 “This is the way of an adulterous woman; She eats and wipes her mouth, and says, ‘I have done no wrong”. Not only adulterous women, but most sinners have this same attitude. Today, many false teachers will also teach them that they have done no wrong.

The Words Of Agur Proverbs 30:24-28 “Four things are small on the earth, But they are exceedingly wise; V25 the ants who prepare in the summer their food for the winter, the ants who live for the colony and die for the colony, the ants who defend their young and nurture their young.

The Words Of Agur Four Things V26 The badgers (rock-badgers) coneys, possibly rabbits or ground squirrels, possibly an owl. Even though it lives on the ground, the rocks protect it from larger predators. V27 The locust have no king, but move in ranks and very effectively

The Words Of Agur Four Things V28 The lizard, spider, gecko is small, but shares the palace with the king. These four small creatures are very wise and survive quite well.
