2 BACKGROUND: the 4th “olympics of Radiosporting” 1990 Seattle (“Goodwill Games”) 1996 San Francisco 2000 Slovenia organized by Contest Club Finland (CCF) and SRAL WRTC contest / IARU Contest SRAL Summer Camp same week (abt 1500 OH hams)

3 TEAMS: 50 two-men teams national teams / “wild card teams” 25 from Europe each team has a referee/judge

4 STATIONS: Finnish tribanders, windoms, 100 watts two radios - another only RX “online” scoring, web cameras ? QTHs around Helsinki (100km x 150km)

5 BUDGET: 200,000 USD 50% from Finnish sponsors 50% from elsewhere, contesters support needed from USA 20k USD so far contact K7BV, OH1EH, OH1NOA or OH2BU special HamRadio offer http://www.wrtc2002.org email: wrtc2002@wrtc2002.org CU in FINLAND
