Chem questions! What would be measured in units of amu? The mass of an atom, molecule or formula unit. What would be measured in grams? The mass of a mole…or many moles! What the heck is a formula unit? It’s not a unit of measure…it is the smallest part of an ionic compound. Think of it like a molecule, even though it is not covalent.
