2. P URPOSE Hypothesis The reason I am doing this project is to see which places grow grass seed the best. We think that the classroom will grow the tallest grass seed.

3. M ATERIALS L IST Miracle grow potting soil Nine styrofoam cups pencil Shelly’s counter Counter in classroom Shelf in science closet Computer water

4. P ROCEDURES 1. Buy 9 pots 2. Buy grass seed 3. Buy Miracle grow potting soil 4. Open bag of potting soil 5. Open grass seed packets 6. Pour ¼ cup of the potting soil in a pot 7. Repeat step 6 in all 9 cups 8. Plant 5 grass seeds in all 9 cups 9. Put 3 cups in Shelly’s office, 3 in the science closet, and 3 in the classroom 10. Measure water with beaker put equal & put 10 ML in all 9 pots everyday

7. C ONCLUSION Our hypothesis was right because the classroom plants grew tallest. We think that the lack of sunlight was the problem for the ones in the science closet and Shelly’s office. If we could do this experiment again we would do it when it is nice and sunny so the plants in Shelly’s & and the plants in the science closet.
