2 Use Talking about things that are happening now, at the moment. e.g. I’m studying English now. Talking about actions happening in a period around the present moment in time. e.g. I’m studying English grammar for a week and still don’t understand IT

3 Talking about future plans and arrangements. e.g. I’m going out with my friends this evening. Temporary action: I’m staying in England now but I live with my parents in Poland.

4 Don’t use PC with mental verbs: Understand......not understanding Love Enjoy Like Hate

5 Form to be (is, am, are) + verb + -ing e.g. I am reading at the moment. She isn’t speaking now. We are learning about Present Continuous.

6 Positive form I am studying English (now). You are studying English (now). She is studying English (now). He is studying English (now). It is studying English (now). We are studying English (now). You are studying English (now). They are studying English (now).

7 Sit.................sitting Travel..............travelling Run..................running Have.............having Move.............moving

8 Negative form I am not studying English (now). You are not studying English (now). She is not studying English (now). He is not studying English (now). It is not studying English (now). We are not studying English (now). You are not studying English (now). They are not studying English (now).

9 Questions Am I studying English (now)? Are you studying English (now)? Is she studying English (now)? Is he studying English (now)? Is it studying English (now)? Are we studying English (now)? Are you studying English (now)? Are they studying English (now)?

10 Time expressions at the moment now currently for (some time) today, this week, this month, tomorrow, next week (for future arrangements ) today, this week, this month, tomorrow, next week (for future arrangements )
