1 D’. S. Expo (Division Science Expo) Banner Program for Science

2 Rationale Science is essentially a method of discovering the world, which is something that most children/learners love to do. However, to many students, "science" still resembles an inaccessible subject — something only geniuses conduct in secret laboratories. In reality, science is a process we use every day. To foster love for science various activities should be introduced to constantly engage learners.

3 Objectives The Division Science Expo is a program that is anchored on LCEP’s three main activities which aims to: - Use inquiry based learning (IBL) to promote critical thinking and communication skills through Science Fair;

4 Objectives - Conduct Science camps to promote social skills, environmental awareness and “off-school science learning” (for least mastered competencies/skills). - Conduct science competitions (for both teachers and learners) to promote creativeness, innovativeness and camaraderie through Science Congress.
