Problem : How does the release distance affect the bounce distance of a golf ball from bounce 1 and bounce 2.?
4
I predict that the release point of the golf ball will make the bounce further from bounce 1 and bounce 2.

7
The distance between from bounce 1 and bounce 2.
8
1. Draw a Diagram. 2. Write procedure. 3. Gather materials. 4. Construct model ramp on chair. 5. Measure distance of PVP. 6. Place nail at first point. 7. Drop ball then release nail.

Drop 1: We dropped it at 10cm and it dropped 44cm apart from each other Drop 2: We noticed that the second drop was elevation Drop 3: I noticed the ball goes farther and faster from different release distance Drop 4: The ball bounces exceeded the radius of the paper towel Drop 5: The ball dropped farther than I expected. … to be continued …………………………………………………………

Drop 6: The ball didn’t change a lot

From the experiment I have concluded That the higher something is the more momentum it will have. This affects the bounce 1 from bonce 2 because the higher the release distance the more release distance bounce1 will get.
14
One possible explanation is the release distance that the ball took off at affects the bounce distance.
