2.  Born in July 20 th, 1932 in South Korea.  Famous video artist and musician.  Studied in Tokyo and Germany were he worked at a radio station.  Known as video art’s father.  Uses technology such as TVs or other electronics.  Died in January 29 th, 2006.

4.  New technologies create variety and different types of art which evolve along with the society.  New technologies make the artist’s job easier but gives him/her a much better result.  New technologies come with new techniques, new materials and new ideas.  “The future is now” (Nam June Paik).  New technologies can be mixed with traditional art to create a new one.

5.  He started to use technology (TVs) because he discovered a great combination between Asian culture and new inventions, most of his work includes them.

NAM JUNE PAIK  I think is a really good artist who showed the traditional Asian culture with the modern world and the new technologies such as TVs and other electronics, very advanced for the time. ART - TECHNOLOGY  It’s a good combination which makes both better, art changes and becomes a modern thing, meanwhile technology is exposed in a different way than what is seen commonly. Technology is good for art.
