5.  It’s an ideal opportunity for discussions of teaching and learning using an example.  Our example: implementing Public Health 101  Presenting public health in an integrated approach  Class plans using existing and innovative T&L techniques and tools  Course plans using existing technology  What better way to begin our discussions on teaching and learning than using T&L techniques as in integral part of the discussion?

6.  Public Health 101 Working Group  Meets 1 st Monday of each month to review and plan  Subgroups develop implementation plans for sections of the course  Subgroups present plans in workshops  Teaching & Learning Workshop Planning Group  Meets 2 nd Thursday of each month to review and plan  Plans and promotes workshops with External Affairs  Integrated Teaching & Learning Workshops  Held 4 th Friday of each month through October  First part: Presentation of section of course Updates of previously presented sections  Second part: Presentation of T&L techniques and ideas
