History In 1790 President Washington selected land for a place for the government. chose land from Maryland and Virginia. Pierre L’Enfant took the 100 square mile area and made it into the city of Washington D.C. President Washington

Conclusion I picked this topic because I had such a good time visiting my friend Ryan who moved there. I enjoyed seeing Ryan and attending an NHL and NFL game.
