incident An incident is something unusual that happens and often is an accident. incident 1. gradual If something happens in a gradual way, it happens slowly. gradually 1. Which happens gradually- building a house or eating lunch? gradually 2. indecisive When you are indecisive, you cannot make up your mind about something. indecisive 1. Would you be indecisive about what to choose at a restaurant or about which pencil to use? indecisive 2. You have two books that someone else wants to borrow. Act indecisive about which book to give your friend. indecisive 3. Max may have an apple or a banana for dessert. If Max is indecisive, will it take him a long time or a short time for him to pick his dessert? Why?
