2 Dashboard Web Log Analysis 215,000 lines of web log data on 429 “core subject” teachers in grades 3-8 14,228 separate logins to Dashboard from August 3, 2008 – May 31, 2009 With these data I track: – Logins to Dashboard – Which pages get viewed – How much time is spent on each page

3 Basic Usage Statistics Average teacher: – Logged in 33 times in 2008-2009 school year – Spent about 7 hours on Dashboard during that time How did they spend their time?

4 Analysis focuses on: Class pages Students-in-class pages Individual student pages Item pages Resource pages
