1. Fashion and Music in the 1990’s By: Kaitlyn Coviello

2. What is Fashion? Definitions of Fashion: manner: how something is done or how it happens The latest and most admired style in clothes Make out of components Consumer goods (especially clothing) Fashion also could mean: A way to describe ones self.

3. When was music discovered? Music was discovered when people started beating rocks, trees, or anything that would make some kind of rhythmic noise. Scientists say that cavemen were the first to discover the world of music. The cavemen would celebrate like Indians, they would gather around a camp fire to dance and make different sounds that made them want to dance.

4. Blue Jeans Blue jeans in the 1990’s were very popular. Blue jeans were supposed to be for work but people wore blue jeans to look casual. Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis, Levi thought if one person wanted to wear blue jeans to look casual then to let that person do whatever they wanted to, but Jacob thought they should have been worn for what they were supposed to be worn for. WORK. Blue jeans have not really changed much since the 1990’s. The only thing that’s really change in blue jeans is that blue jeans are skinny jeans.

5. Fashion in the 1990’s Fashion today has not changed much since the 1990’s. Shirts were collarless or without buttons, some shirts even advertised! Dress shirts for women were usually V necked or U necked, men's dress shirts were most likely button down collared shirts. Shoes in the 1990’s were not as popular as blue jeans, but the most popular shoes were Converse: All Stars!, and Nikes. Dress shoes were either ballet flats or high heels for a special occasion. Men’s dress shoes were, well dressy. They were just regular dress shoes.

6. What is music? Pleasant way to relax. Music is an art of sound. Music is a proposed generic top-level domain. Music is a way that you can describe yourself.

7. The Backstreet Boys The Backstreet Boys were very popular in the 1990’s. They started many fashion trends. For instance, when your shoes tongue hangs out while your pants are tucked in. The trend is still very popular now! The Backstreet boys started out like any other boy band would start. Howie Dwaine Dorough (born in August 1973) kept running into the same two boys when he joined some of their town talent shows. Howie found out that he had the same interests in classical soul those boys did. Their names were Alexander James Mclean (born on January 9, 1978). These three boys went on to starting a career in music……about 2 years later they 3 more people who were interested in joining so today they are a big phenomenon!
