5. ABYSSAL Viper fish- salt water fish, long needle teeth, hinged jaw, 30-40 year life span. Carnivore. Top predator. Giant squid- Deep ocean dweller. 8 species. Hunts deep sea fish. Rare to see. Oar fish- 10-50 feet long. Lives 30,000 feet below sea level. Largest boney fish in the sea. Carnivore. Secondary consumer.
